Need easy to install tweeter replacements for my 1999 Grand Cherokee with Infinity system. Any help?
Bought Jeep used and tweeters were already blown. Have read so much about replacing them and do not want Infinity brand. Any suggestions? Thanks...
replacing tweeters shouldn't be that hard. where are they mounted at? all you have to do is pull them out and put new ones in. well you might have to unwire them from the crossover, which is most likely in the door If your tweeters are also in the door. so you'll probably have to remove the door panel to get to them.
and infinity makes some good tweeters. is there any particular reason why you don't want another set other then the fact that the ones you were given were blown? its easy to blow tweeters if you're not careful because they can only handle so much power. unlike a subwoofer which needs hundreds of watts and can use thousands. 100 watts would destroy most tweeters in no time.
