What is the best type of shower to buy?
I only have a bath in my bathroom and i want to buy a shower. There are so many kinds i.e. mira, trition etc and i don't know which is best. I want a power shower, not one that trickles. Preferably i would like a powerful yet simple shower with a start stop button. My cousin is a plumber so he will fit it for me. I seen a Triton Sema Mixer Shower from Homebase. It is £155 and it's on offer for £77.50 but don't know if it's what i'm looking for. If someone could point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated.
stick with a well-known, trusted brand. You will pay more but the companies stand behind their products and you will not only get better performance, but replacement parts down the road. We installed a Moen full flow shower valve with a lever--not happy with it because it seemed to have stripped out after only a couple of years and is difficult to find the sweet spot for proper temperature, but the shower head proper, which we spent way more on, is the large rainfall type. A WINNER all around. We also installed a hand shower along a bar on the wall that adjusts to low or high, and of course removes, nice for rinsing out the shower, washing feet, etc.
Your cousin can make recommendations about which products last longer, are the most bang for your buck, and are simplest to maintain. enjoy!
