my ibanez amp not working!! (plx help)?
ok so i bought one of those ibanez guitar packs like 3 months ago and it came with a pretty big amp (medium size) but all of the sudden its not working the sound comes only from the guitar
whats wrong with it??
can somebody plz help me??!
Do a check of everything.
Is the light on?
Is the cable plugged into the guitar and amp?
If you turn the volume knob on the amp all the way up, do you hear a hum?
Did the amp fall over, get wet, or anything else since it last made a sound? Were you playing while it cut out? Has it been making any strange sounds lately?
Look at the back to make sure both red and blue wires are firmly plugged into the speaker. I don't mean to be obvious, but it can often be something like this. I had a little 30 watt Ibanez practice amp and it was quite good.
If everything you try fails, then maybe ask someone you know with some experience to look at your set up. If you have to take it to a shop call around and look for a free estimate. Also check your warranty as it might be 6 months or even one year. You can also take it to the shop where you bought it. This is not a tube amp, but it might have a fuse so check that or have someone else do it. These amps are not terribly complicated so even if you need a repair it shouldn't be that much.
